Los Geranios is a family-run pensión in an old town building near the seafront — the kind of place that barely exists in Tenerife's southern resort zone. Rooms are basic but spotlessly clean, with ceiling fans and either street or courtyard views. Shared bathrooms are available at the lowest rates. The owners are long-standing Puerto de la Cruz locals who give excellent free advice on where to eat and what to visit. A genuinely authentic budget option for independent travellers who prefer character over comfort.
